I sent an email to most of you guys about my trip I'm going on in February but I thought i would post the letter here as well for anyone that I may have missed. Also if you got my email and know of someone that might be interested in helping feel free to forward this email onto them. I appreciate any way you can support me and our team. It's going to be an amazing trip and I'm so excited to go! Here is the letter:

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope you all enjoyed your summer! We had a great summer watching our daughter learn to walk and start to talk. It's been so fun! We are so blessed as a family. Now it's time to give back and that's why I'm writing to you. I wanted to tell you about an awesome opportunity that I have. Next February I am going to go on a one week mission trip to Cofradia, Mexico with my church. Cofradia is a small town of about 15,000 people. Most people live in small one room houses that have a dirt floor. During the hot season this isn’t a problem but when the rainy season comes the floor turns to mud which is dirty and can cause a lot of health problems, especially for children. While we are in Mexico we will be building a house for a family in need. I think most of you know that I have a heart for missions so I am really excited about this opportunity but we need your help!!

There are three different ways to that you can support me and our team:

First you can support us through prayer. You can pray for those of us going on the trip. Pray for the family that is going to receive the house. They need to find a piece of land for the house to build on. And pray for their hearts to open to hearing about God.

Second you can support our team through donating to the cost of the building. We need to raise a minimum of $6,000 to build the house but if we raise extra then we can help the family furnish the house as well!

Third you can help me go on the trip! I need to raise $1,300 to go on the trip. I wish I could pay for this out of my pocket but I can’t. If you need your house cleaned, or weeds pulled I would love to work for you in exchange for a donation to my trip. If you are interested in having me work for you let me know so we can schedule a time.

Please pray and ask the Lord if He is asking you to participate with me in this outreach. Taylin's 1st Birthday

We are so blessed to have so much family around so we decided to keep the party simple and just invite family and 2 of our close friends...we still ended up having 30 people at the party!! We just had a simple party at Don and Brenda's house with fruit, veggies, punch and cupcakes! It was a fun time. All our family and friends really blessed Tay with exactly what she needed...toys and clothes! Thanks everyone

So Taylin is constantly changing she has really started talking...she probably has about 10 maybe 15 words. She says mama, dada, hi, hey, nana(banana), go, wow, Oh, byebye, nigh night and a bunch of other words I can't remember right now!

She has been walking now for 2 months so she is really secure in her walking and running abilities. My sister in law had been watching Taylin since I went back to work but is pregnant with her third child so starting September 7th we are moving Taylin to a daycare facility that is basically across the street from my work. I have several friend that take their kids there and they really love the daycare...hopefully Taylin settels in well because she really loves her Aunti and her cousins...we are hoping for a smooth transition because I start back to school in about a month.

Taylin has officially switched from formula to Milk!! What a huge money saver that was!!

Taylin started walking on Sunday June, 21st(Father's Day) while Tom and I were returning from our trip to Disneyland! Here is a short video of her walking in our living room.

Well it's been awhile since I have updated the blog sorry but life has been crazy!! I am just about to finish this quarter of school I have been taking 3 classes and working full time so I really haven't had anytime to update the blog! Taylin is crawling all over the place! She is really fast and amazes me everyday! She is walking on our furniture and never stops moving!! Over the holiday weekend Taylin got to experience her first camping trip in Ellensburg...the weather was perfect during the day but a bit chilly at night (45 degrees). Here are a few picts from the last couple months.

Taylin loves to have bath time. She has decided that she LOVES them so much that she doesn't want them to end. She cries when the bath is over and unlike most babies she likes having water squirted in her face.

7 Months

So it's been a really long time since I have posted anything...life has been super busy with school and work. At Taylin's 6 month check up she weighed 19 pounds 6 ounces which put her in the 97th percentile for weight. She was 26 inches long which was the 50 percentile. She is rolling all over the place sitting up and loves to play with her toys.

About a month ago we went to Loon Lake, WA and stayed at my grandparent's house for a few days. Taylin had her first experiance sledding she didn't really know what to think of it. Here are a few pictures from the last couple months and our trip to Loon Lake.

As I said in one of my previous post I have been making Taylin's baby food. She LOVES food...I don't think we are going to have any problems getting her to eat. So far I have made her squash, yams, banana's, green beans, and peas. She eats most of it but the beans and peas her least favorite. So far she loves the squasha and banana's! Here are a couple picts

The "Big Climb"

So Tom and I are crazy and have signed up for the Big Climb. Basically you climb all 69 flights or 1311 stairs at the Columbia Tower downtown Seattle to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It's a great cause and a good motivation to get moving.

4 Month Check-up

On December 19th Tay had her 4 month check up. She weighted 15 pounds 8 ounces and is 24 1/2 inches long. She is very healthy and is hitting all the goals the doctors look for. One thing that the Dr said was that we can start introducing food to her diet. So I have decided to make the majority of her baby food. It's much cheaper and you know exactly what is in the food. My Dr recommended a great website that has all the information you need to know about introducing food as well as making it yourself. Back to Work I go...

So I have survived my first week back to work. I'm already super busy and feel like I'm back into the swing of things. What I'm not used to is how crazy life is. I get up at 6:30 work all day and then go pick up Taylin from Kelly's house at about 4:30 and then go home and try to figure out what to eat!! It's out of control and the hard part is I know it's only going to get crazier!! I start back to school on January 5th and will be taking 2 classes so hopefully I can keep it together and still enjoy all of the amazing things going on in my life!!

On another note Taylin has been trying to roll over for a few weeks not and of course she decided to do it at Kelly's house the second day I was back to work!! I still haven't seen her do it!! but now we have to be really careful where we set her down so she doesn't roll of something and get hurt.

We have put up our tree and getting really excited for Christmas with Tay. Even though she won't understand it's still fun having her here and part of our traditions.

Here are a few new picts of her she is growing fast and I think she is around 16 pounds. We will find out in a couple weeks at her 4 month check up.

Our daughter is the happiest and chunkiest (Sp??) baby in the world it's so fun spending the day with her in the last month she has gotten so much personality. I weighed Taylin the other day and she weights 15 pounds!! She is a good workout for my arm...LOL. I go back to work December 1st and am sure it's going to be a hard transition for me but at least Tay will be with family (my sister-in-law)!! well here are a few new picts I took of Tay...when I'm board my daughter and I have a photo shoot...LOL

The Latest

Well it's been about a month since I have posted anything Tay has changed quite a bit she smiles everyday, she "talkes" alot!! She has learned how to do a high pitched squeel when she is really happy...it's super cute. Tay holds her head up and really likes to look around. She likes to be part of the party so she doesn't want to be alone in a room. She is always content as long as she is in he same room as you. Well here are a few new picts from the last month.

Taylin's 7 Week Update

Today we went to the doctor and Taylin had her check-up...the doctor said that she is developing perfectly. She currently weights 11 pounds 3 ounces and is in the 75th percentile for her weight. She is 21 1/2 inches long which is the 50th percentile for her length so she is getting a little chubby!! She had to have 3 shots today and she was screaming the second she got the first one...it just made me want to cry becuase I had never seen her scream like that before. But overall it went well and she is healthy which is always a good thing to hear.

So I thought I would post a little about Taylin Rue. She is an amazing baby she is very chill she doesn't cry much unless she is hungry or needs to be changed. She has just started smiling at us intentionally which is a lot of fun. She has a very laid back personality and is a lot of fun to be around. Tom has nicknamed her monkey because she is constantly wiggling. We just had some pictures done of her so as soon as I get them back I will post some new professional picts of her.

An update on me - After being sick in the hospital for a week I have completely recovered and am doing well. I am feeling pretty rested these days since Taylin is an amazing sleeper. She has started to do 5-6 hour stretches during the night. The other night she slept for 7 1/2 hours!!! So we are definitely blessed with a great baby.

The Last Couple Weeks

So since we have been home from Taylin's birth we were trying to figure out her schedule and we have been blessed with such an amazing child!! She is a very content baby she really only cries if she is hungry (or has gas) but other then that she is a really good baby. She sleeps anywhere from 3-5 hour stretches at night so we are blessed with a great baby. Well as we were just getting settled into her schedule I ended up getting sick.

I had been having sever chills and hot flashes for about a week and finally my mom said that's not normal let's take your temp so to make a long story short on Saturday 8/30 I had a temp of 104.3!!

We went to a walk in clinic where they were concerned that I might have some sort of infection in my uterus so they sent me to the ER. I ended up spending the last week in the hospital, I didn't have the infection in my uterus but I did have mastitis (not fun at all!!) So they began treating me for "normal" mastitis but I wasn't getting better. They finally had the infectious disease doctor come see me and they did some more tests and figured out that I had a staph infection. Once they started treating me for that I started to improve much more quickly and I was finally released from the hospital on Saturday 9/6!! They still have me on oral antibiotics so lets just pray that kicks the rest of the infection. It's really nice to be home!!!

Dr. Apt Update

I went to the Dr today for my weekly appointment and found out that I had progressed to 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced!! So I am happy with that! Last week I was only 1 cm and 80% effaced so I'm happy that things are moving along! I have been trying to walk every night and I think that definitely made a difference! Here are a few pictures from Tom's cousins wedding. As you can tell I am really tired these days!! It takes alot of energy to do anything!!

Baby Update

So I am almost 37 weeks which means at that point I will technically be "full term" whatever that is supposed to mean! I have am currently dilated to a 1 so hopefully there will be some progression at my next appointment on Friday. I have like 8 friends who are all pregnant and due within about a month of me and so far 2 of them have had there babies so I am getting anxious to have Taylin!!

I have started having my baby showers so that has been fun. We have so many friends and family that want to bless us that we am having 4 showers!! I just thought I would share a few pictures from the showers!! I have had 2 and still have 2 more to come in the next couple weeks!!

These are pictures from my shower that Hannah hosted for me!! It was at my grandma's house and we had a lot of fun!! We got a bunch more cute clothes and lots of stuff to get Tom and I set up for when Taylin is born!!

These pictures are from my first shower that Tom's mom and aunt threw for me! We got alot of great stuff including, clothes, diapers, our stoller and carseat combo, a hamper and lots more great stuff for Taylin.

The Nursery...A Work in Progress!!

So we have the nursery mostly done! Yesterday my mom and I worked on the green wall...Since I can't paint, my mom and I used fabric which you dip in liquid starch then stick it to the wall. It's really easy and it doesn't hurt the walls at all! When we move we will just pull it down and wipe the walls with a damp cloth and be good to go!! It makes such a difference having color on one of the walls!

So I had a Dr appointment yesterday and everything is still looking good. The doc told me that she wanted to do another ultrasound to make sure the baby is growing well. So I will have ANOTHER ultrasound next Friday.

I am almost into my 3rd trimester so I have to start going to the doctor ever other week!! This is a little frustrating since I have to give myself 45 min to get there and get parked but I guess that's the price you pay for delivering at a good hospital (Evergreen Hospital).

Taylin is a very active baby!! Almost every night she wakes me up around 4am because she is moving around so much! So basically I am not sleeping very well but at least I know she is doing well in there!!

We have most of the nursery done...We have all the furniture and the curtains up we just need to get some stuff on the walls to pull it all together. Once we are done with it I will post up some pictures.

So I had another 3d ultrasound today so I thought I would post a couple more pictures that were good from today's session.

I had a few friends who went and got free 3d/4d ultrasounds while they were pregnant so I decided I wanted to do that to!!

There is a place in Issaquah that manufactures the ultrasound machines and they just need people to be "models" to come in so they can "tune in" the picture on the machine. So basically they just adjust the contrast and brightness and work out any software kinks while you are there but its free of cost to you which is huge because a lot of insurance plans don't cover this kind of ultrasound yet.

It was really amazing to see Taylin moving around in there!! The images were so amazing!!

The ultrasound tech told me her approx weight is 1 lb 10 oz's so in 5 weeks she has grown a lot!!
